Savar & Associates Appoints Seasoned MENA Expert Hisham Bashimam to Lead Middle East and North Africa Business Development
Reston, VA May 13, 2009 – Savar & Associates, a Northern Virginia-based consulting firm which trains multicultural corporations on the human element of business, announced today it has hired Hisham Bashimam as Vice President of Business Development, for the Middle East and North Africa (MENA) region.
Mr. Bashimam resides in Tripoli, Libya and has 30 years combined experience in the public and private sectors. During his 20-year tenure in Libyan government, Mr. Bashimam worked as Director of Parks and Wildlife where he was responsible for the creation of the Tripoli Zoo and management of over 1500 employees. His work required extensive travel throughout Africa, Asia and Europe.
In his role as Vice President of Business Development for Savar & Associates, Mr. Bashimam will be responsible for developing business opportunities as well as acting as the company's liaison for the MENA region.
